Who We Are
IQ Paranormal is a paranormal investigation team located in Des Moines, IA. Our priorities are twofold - first, help the living, second help the dead. Using a mixture of traditional evidence collection and the powers of a medium, we collect any and all information possible to discover the root of your paranormal problems. Depending on the situation, we may also provide advice on how to cleanse and protect your property.

Meet the Team
Ian and Emily "Quinn" Smith are a couple of paranormal enthusiasts, and Co-Founders of IQ Paranormal. While they believe that the paranormal exists, they bring a health dose of skepticism to each investigation; not everything that goes "bump in the night" is a ghost after all!

Ian, as a Lead Investigator, brings his tech and filming skills to the table. With an eye for detail and keen understanding about potential technical issues that could be mistaken for ghostly activity, he catches every bit of evidence collected.

Emily is a Lead Investigator, but also the team's medium with over 30-years of experience. Before the investigation, and without knowing anything about the haunting or property, she performs a "sweep" of the property to assess who and what is there, and where the team should start their traditional investigation.
